Heathrow's Terminal 5 is being built at the western end of the airport on a former sludge site. The buildings, comprising the main terminal and two satellites, will provide capacity for 30 million passengers a year

Saftronics have recently delivered the last of the 18 L.V. Switchboards for the new Terminal at HEATHROW - 'T5'. The switchboards will provide power to the entire Baggage handling system as well as the Arrivals & Departure area's of the new Terminal.

The actual contract completion date was the 20th March 2006, as a result of us delivering the Switchboards early; the client has been in a position to proceed with the testing of the Baggage handling system early, in readiness of the opening of the Terminal in 2007.
