A Message from Saftonics Managing Director, Alan Rayner:

Hello Everyone.

I’m committed (some may say they knew that already!)


I’ve dedicated my time in March and April….to raise money for Cancer Research UK by trekking to the Everest Base Camp in the Himalayas.

Every 2 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer and Cancer Research is the only UK charity carrying out pioneering research across all types of cancer. I want, with your help, to fund the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses…please support them by sponsoring me.

I’ll be part of a team - the aim of which is to put fellow trekkers Phil Purdy and Jeff Crooke on top of Mount Everest. Sounds easy when you say it but it is no walk in the park. Your sponsorship and donations will assist the charity directly and will help them beat cancer and be a great incentive for me on my journey.

Every pound you donate will go straight to Cancer Research as the cost of my travel and equipment has been self funded. I’m aiming to raise £5,000.00.
