This Investment Management Company’s prestigious new office complex at Canary Wharf in London required a total building services control solution. No fewer than 7 separate functions required their own building management system (BMS), and these systems had to interface seamlessly with the overall BMS. The solution had to control all of the building’s systems from the water pumps, air supply fans, humidifiers, and smoke extraction fans through to the stair pressurisation fans, lift power supplies and car park roller shutters.

Saftronics designed and manufactured 8 combined LV switchboards and motor control centres (MCCs) with front access and top cable entry. Each MCC was supplied with its own individual BMS designed to interface seamlessly with the overall BMS. We also supplied a total of 11 automatic power source change over units, which are continually monitored by the BMS. This office complex is in continual use, and relies on the Saftronics solution for the reliable and smooth running of its state-of-the-art infrastructure.
