Saftronics was selected to supply, install and commission 12 MCCs at a Bio-Solids Drying Plant. This Waste Water Treatment Works is one of the largest and most technically advanced sewage treatment plants in this county, serving 680,000 people. The plant and associated equipment recycles waste to produce a soil conditioner for agriculture.
Our in-house designed MCCs incorporate Rockwell multi-variable speed drives system generating the required DC voltage in a central unit and feeding it into a common DC bus to which the single, independently operated inverters are connected. The PowerFlex SCR non-regenerative bus supply is used to supply power to the multi-drive system.
In addition, Allen Bradley Flex I/O units integrate signals from the MCCs to a site-wide communication network.
