Saftronics is committed to continually improving its environmental performance and complies with the environmental policy standards set out in
ISO 14001:2004 4.2.
We strongly believe that meeting the needs of the present should not compromise the ability of future generations to meet theirs. We are working towards minimising our environmental impact, reducing our energy consumption, and using fewer resources. We are serious about conducting our business in a sustainable manner.
We aim to achieve continual improvements, prevent pollution and where practicable, exceed all relevant regulatory requirements.
Our environmental activities include:
- A written policy statement detailing our environmental objectives with specific targets for each area of our business
- Regular reviews of our written policy statement to monitor our progress
- Regular evaluations of our environmental performance in all areas of our business
- Ensuring we meet, and where possible exceed, all legal and other requirements relating to environmental issues
- Recycling and re-using materials wherever possible
- Listening and taking note of the views of interested parties
