Manufacturers throughout the UK once again opened their doors to members of the public for a behind-the-scenes look at how Manufacturers’ facilities work. Saftronics participated in the celebrations and invited Leeds City College into our works for a tour and a chance to see the potential careers and jobs in the wonderfully diverse manufacturing sector.
We demonstrated the value of a manufacturing apprenticeship as an alternative route post-school/college. National Manufacturing Day is a celebration of all of the industry’s sub-sectors, including automotive, food and drink, aerospace, defence, chemical, and pharma.
