Siemens Electrium UK got in touch with a request as their usual contractor could not achieve the client’s requested installation dates. The scope was to install three SIVACON S4 low voltage distribution boards that had been manufactured for a newly built AMAZON distribution logistics hub at East Midlands airport
The SIVACON S4 is part of the family of SIVACON S8 switchgear which Saftronics manufacture so our team are fully familiar with the Siemens quality and installation procedures.
Our project delivery team took care of all the arrangements and our site personnel installed the boards, reconnected the shipping splits and conducted site acceptance tests over two days.
We had great feedback from the site’s main contractor team and Siemens UK has requested Saftronics bid for more site installation of their switchgear.
