Stolle originally approached Saftronics as they were having a new production facility built in mainland Europe and they required a high-powered main distribution network with local distribution close to operating personnel and machinery.
As there was due to be high human traffic around the local distribution points, safety was even more of a focus than usual. Also, production in this particular facility was extremely high, therefore reliability was key as any downtime would have a severe impact on the business. SIVACON S8 was used in this project as standards for safe power distribution are so high.
Once we had the requirements of the customer, we set to developing a solution. Taking into consideration the needs of international and local authority standards, we constructed three high powered main distribution panels and twelve local distribution panels, all designed and manufactured to the same standard with ARC containment to IEC/TR 61641.
We then provided training for the customer’s installation team and were on hand for video calls to support the European team whilst commissioning took place.
The customer was immensely happy with our services as we had delivered the project on time and within budget, so much so that on their next project we were their partner of choice.
